Loveland Pass Elopement | Alexzandra & Nathan

Alexzandra & Nathan’s combined love for the great outdoors, and their desire to share their intimate Colorado elopement with their families led them to plan their Loveland Pass elopement.

We always encourage our couples to prioritize their feelings and the moments that matter most during your Colorado elopement. When you have a clear vision in mind for your day, we can step in to make it a reality. Just like we did for Alexzandra and Nathan’s Loveland Pass elopement.

Their ICU Love story

Alexzandra & Nathan’s love story began while they were both working in the ICU together. They started off as friends and remained so for years prior to dating. Then one faithful day, they saw each other in a different light, and when the time was just right, they joined together as one and never looked back.

The Proposal

Nathan proposed to Alexzandra in a place they both knew well. The same place where they had met as strangers, became friends and fallen in love – the hospital. Alexzandra had just given birth to their beautiful baby girl, then, as if the moments couldn’t be more joyous, Nathan asked Alexzandra to marry him. She of course said yes, and the rest is history!

Their Loveland Pass Elopement

Alexzandra and Nathan’s Rocky Mountain elopement at Loveland Pass began on the morning of July 9th. They gathered their 3 beautiful little girls, and their family and made the small trek toward Loveland Pass for their intimate ceremony.

One of the perks of planning a Loveland Pass elopement is the accessibility it offers for your guests. This is another reason Alexzandra and Nathan chose Loveland Pass as their Colorado elopement location. They wanted their parents to experience the beauty of the landscape without making them hike long, or traitorous distances.

Nowadays, couples choose to elope for a number of reasons. From wanting to get married in nature, to simply wanting to save money! If you’re trying to decide between expensing a traditional wedding or planning a Colorado elopement adventure, be sure to check out our latest Colorado resource!

Once their guests had arrived in the parking lot, we made the hike to their ceremony location. They had one of their closest friends officiate for them. They exchanged their heartfelt vows, and their rings, and then sealed their union with a kiss. With the iconic mountain pass behind them, the wind blowing in their hair, and the love that surrounded them will undeniably be a memory they’ll all cherish for a very long time.

After their ceremony, they took family photos and signed their marriage license making it official! Then it was time to celebrate! We hiked around Loveland Pass to Loveland Pass Lake, and Lake Kaz, where they popped some bubbly and toasted to their happily ever after.
