Hiking Adventure Elopement with Kids in the Colorado Mountains

We were excited from the beginning about Gina and Tom and their hiking adventure elopement with kids in the Colorado mountains. We firmly believe that when it comes to elopements that you get to have an experience that checks every box on your wish list and we love helping you accomplish that.

Many of us on the Colorado Photographer Squad team are parents too, so it’s always exciting when kiddos get to join in on the elopement experience, especially when it involves a mountain adventure. Gina came to us with a vision and a Pinterest board that we were all swooning over.

We were excited to share one of our secret and secluded mountain elopement locations with this wonderful couple because it was the perfect opportunity for them to have an adventure elopement experience that their kids could join in on and that was secluded enough at sunset to where the day still felt intimate! Their kids were so excited to be a part of their adventure elopement experience!

Before their elopement ceremony, Gina, Tom and their boys spent some time taking photos as a family, then had an emotion-filled and beautifully written ceremony officiated by the wonderful Lisa Hunter with Ceremonies with Lisa while the sun was setting into the Rocky Mountains behind them and we were able to take some romantic mountain bride and groom photos during the gorgeous golden hour and sunset light.

They wrapped up their hiking elopement by exploring the mountain trail together as a family and watching the clouds in the sky light up with colors. What a beautiful Colorado adventure elopement. We loved being able to document this day!
