Melissa and Alec’s Spiritual Backyard Elopement near Brainard Lake

Melissa and Alec recently moved to the Boulder mountain area, so their new home was the perfect setting for their spiritual backyard elopement wedding celebration and it only made sense to venture over to Brainard Lake for portraits afterward since they live so close! Even though their guests didn’t attend in person they were able to witness their marriage virtually through a live stream.

Tip: If you’re considering live streaming your wedding or elopement our clients love using LoveCast. We have no personal agenda or financial gain from recommending them, but love shouting out people and services our clients have used and loved in the past!

We absolutely love that the bride and groom created a sacred and meaningful setting to share their vows and become husband and wife. Every detail they incorporated into their ceremony space was meaningful to them.

We love it when couples make the day their own and put a new spin on a tradition! For the bride’s processional to her elopement ceremony she was led by their adorable dog. You know how we feel about dogs at weddings and elopements, so this day is a favorite of ours already for obvious reasons!

I love that Melissa and Alec’s officiant, Lisa Hunter with Ceremonies with Lisa, took a moment to welcome and acknowledge the guests that virtually attended their intimate backyard elopement.

Wooohoooo! We love that after they shared their first kiss as husband and wife Melissa and Alec were announced to all of their family and friends that attended their elopement live stream!

After their sunset ceremony they headed to Brainard Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness to take some epic just married photos together by the lakeside.

Melissa and Alec’s beautiful backyard elopement was photographed by our team photographer Natasha and edited in our bold, but true-to-life editing style
