Their Love Story
Jasmine and William first met while attending a weekly event called “Food Truck Thursday.” Jasmine was there running a booth with her dental office. William stopped by the booth to say hello to his Aunt, who worked with Jasmine. We don’t know if it was fate or William’s Aunt’s good intentions (or both). But after they were introduced, their love story effortessly unfolded. On their first date, they hung out together at William’s house and watched a few movies. The company and the cinema must’ve been a hit because they never looked back.
The Proposal
William proposed to Jasmine while they were on a family vacation with his family in Cozumel, Mexico. He wanted to surprise her, so he scheduled a family photo session one night during their trip. He even included his parents to really throw her off. Then, during one particular photo opp, while William was behind Jasmine, he got down on one knee. When she turned around, to her surprise, he asked her to marry him. She, of course, said “Yes’, and the planning for their Fall elopement at Sprague Lake began!

Their words beautifully showcased their deep love for each other, and set the stage for their magical elopement day in Rocky Mountain National Park.
On October 6th, Jasmine and William’s dreams transformed into reality as they embarked on their Fall elopement at Sprague Lake. Jasmine’s father lovingly walked her down the aisle, that was effortessly adorned in the beautiful fall foliage. Meanwhile, William and their loved ones patiently awaited their arrival on the Sprague Lake dock. As Jasmine and her father approached, he hugged William and then Jasmine, before their ceremony began.
Jasmine and William’s ceremony was a beautiful blend of brevity and sweetness, leaving a lasting impression on their hearts. Every moment was filled with love and intention, creating memories that would be cherished forever. Rocky Mountain National Park is the most popular national park in Colorado. It is home to delegate mountain terrain. Whic his why, RMNP asks all visitors to follow the principles of LNT while in the park. By practicing these key principles, we will be able to preserve the landscape from erosion and damage by human activity so we can continue enjoying the park for years to come!
These guidelines might seem like common sense, but you might be surprised at the impact even small actions can have on a natural place. Especially when multiplied by thousands of visitors.
One of the most important LNT principles for RMNP is to “Travel and Camp on Durable Surfaces.” Most people don’t realize that the high-alpine tundra vegetation, which looks like moss, is quite delicate and easily trampled. When damaged, it can take decades to grow back! To protect the land, all visitors are asked to walk on established trails, not right next to them or elsewhere!
If you plan to elope in Rocky Mountain National Park, please do your part to Leave No Trace. We want everyone to be able to enjoy our colorful Colorado for countless years to come!
