It was a rainy summer day in Colorado when Lauren and Brody tied the knot at Moraine Park Amphitheater. However, a few raindrops couldn’t rain on their parade. From stolen glances under umbrellas to laughter shared amidst rain-soaked laughter, every frame was a testament to their love’s resilience and their willingness to embrace the unexpected. It was a day that was as memorable as it was magical. A day that our Estes Park Wedding Videography team captured in its entirety so that these two lovebirds can relive it over and over again.
Their Love Story
Lauren and Brody were first introduced through mutual friends back in the summer of 2018. They were friends for about 4.5 months before they realized they were meant to be so much more. Brody was living in Omaha at the time, and Lauren had moved to KC shortly after they had become friends. A lot of their first days together were spent going on “friend” dates around Kansas City. They would often visit the Waffle Bar at the Plaza in KC, or go for walks around all the shops. They didn’t have a lot of money to spend at the time, but that didn’t matter because it was during this time that all they really needed was each other. And that’s something money can’t buy.
The Proposal
Brody popped the big question while the two were on a hike at Adams Falls in Grand Lake. Brody’s sister and her fiance had joined them on their adventure, and at one point, they all stopped to take a picture. Or, at least, that’s what Lauren assumed they were doing. Little did she know at the time, but that hike was just the beginning of their greatest adventure yet. Before she knew it, Brody was down on one knee. Seconds later, he asked her to be his forever. Of course, Lauren said Yes!
Super sweet side note: Adams Falls was also the first place Lauren had ever hiked in Colorado with a Brody a few years prior, so it was a special place to them for many reasons.
Their Estes Park Wedding Day
It was a summer day in Colorado, where the mountains proudly displayed their majestic peaks. The air was filled with a sense of anticipation and excitement as the clouds gathered overhead. Raindrops delicately fell around these two lovebirds as they shared their sweet and emotional first look. While some might have seen the rain as an obstacle, they saw it as a serendipitous gift from Mother Nature, adding a touch of romance to their perfect love story.
Lauren and Brody were surrounded by a crew of supporters – and we do mean a crew! It was so obvious how fiercely loved and adored these two are and how much of a positive impact they make on those who love them most.
With umbrellas overhead, Lauren and Brody, their bridal party, and families gathered in the Moraine Park Amphitheater for their intimate ceremony. Lauren and Brody shared their personal vows with their loved ones as their witnesses, surrounded by the beauty of Rocky Mountain National Park. There wasn’t a dry eye in the amphitheater that day, and it wasn’t just because of the rain.
Lauren and Brody’s love is like one of a fairytale, gentle, kind, genuine, and romantic. It’s hard to adequately put into words how sweet of love it is. However, where our words fall short, our Estes Park Wedding Videography team captured it perfectly.
