Megan & Alan’s 3M Curve Elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park

Megan and Alan’s 3M Curve elopement in Rocky Mountain National Park took place on a beautiful summer evening. It was an intimate, romantic, and intentional celebration of their love – filled with Spiderman kisses, handwritten vows, and adventures in Rocky Mountain National Park.

Their Love Story

Their story is a classic dating app success story. They met for lunch on a Saturday at a local brewery. They shared a menu, and both ended up ordering the same thing! Needless to say, there was an instant comfort and connection.

Fast forward to a week before Christmas. Megan had gone to take their dogs for their evening walk. Upon her return home, she sees Alan on the front porch. All of the lights are on and shining bright. Their song was playing softly in the background. Alan got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife. Of course said yes, then they pooped a bottle of champagne to celebrate – it was perfect! Alan wanted to find the perfect place to propose. Then realized their favorite place was truly at home. In the new house, they bought together and renovated with their two dogs.

Megan and Alan love the outdoors, appreciate good scenery, and always want to visit Colorado together. So, choosing to have their elopement at 3M Curve in Rocky Mountain National Park made perfect sense.

They kept their ceremony intimate, with just the two of them, their officiant, and our crew present. It was a very intentional but laid-back celebration. They shared the sweetest handwritten vows on the cliff’s edge as the alpine glow illuminated the rocks behind them. After their emotional ceremony, they took their first troll through the meadow below as husband and wife.

It was a day deeply in rooted in love, with the beauty of Colorado surrounding them. These are just a few of the moments from this day that will live in our minds for years to come.
