Labor Day weekend is one of the busiest elopement weekends in Colorado every year. The Colorado Photographer Squad collectively photographed 7 elopements over Labor Day weekend in 2021 and Arianne and David’s elopement with dogs in the Rocky Mountains of Boulder Colorado definitely has us swooning.
These two needed a dog-friendly location for their elopement and the Artist Point hiking trail on Flagstaff Mountain was the perfect place to make it happen! We love Artist Point in Boulder for elopements because it boasts beautiful views of the Rocky Mountains, has a whimsical forest area, and best of all it is dog friendly.
Between their charisma, their adorable dogs, and their evident chemistry it’s tough to pick a favorite moment from this wonderful elopement day.
Arianne and David began their Colorado adventure elopement experience by sharing a first look in the pine tree forest. After their private first look they had a simple and sweet ceremony officiated by Lisa Hunter with Ceremonies with Lisa. We love that she announced the newlyweds to their dogs AND to the mountains around them after their elopement ceremony and first kiss as husband and wife!
The bride and groom spent the rest of their elopement experience hiking through the trail system with their two cute dogs for some gorgeous portraits during sunset. We absolutely love an elopement with dogs!
Tip: Did you know in Colorado your dog can legally sign your marriage license as a witness?
